Great news: plans are starting to come together for a BiCon later this year!
We have a likely venue in Nottingham and a probable date at the end of July. If this all works out then, like in 2024, BiCon this year will be held in a school and will be non-residential.
But we need people to make this happen. People to help with session planning, social events, publicity, budgeting, registrations, volunteer management, access and inclusion. Or, more generally, to be part of a team and contribute ideas for the next BiCon.
- You might be an experienced event organiser.
- You might never have run anything.
- You might be one of the many people in our community who are some way between the two.
- You don't need to live anywhere near Nottingham, although if you do, some local knowledge would be very useful.
Whatever your experience level, whatever time and energy you can spare, we'll be able to find something for you to do. What's needed most is enthusiasm and a desire to work with others to make BiCon 2025 happen.
If this sounds like something you'd like to be involved with, please email info@biconcontinuity.org.uk, giving a brief summary of what your areas of interest are and any past experience. We'd love to hear from you.
